  1. A1 CHECK THE SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR CABLE 
    • Check the speed control actuator cable for correct attachment at the speed control actuator and throttle body.
    • Is the speed control actuator cable attached correctly? 
    • Yes  : GO to  A2.
    • No  : CONNECT the speed control actuator cable. TEST the system for normal operation.
  2. A2 CHECK FOR CORRECT AMOUNT OF SLACK IN THE SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR CABLE 
    • Remove the speed control actuator cable from the throttle lever.
    • Check for 0-6 mm (0.24 inch) of slack (extra length) in the speed control actuator cable, beyond the throttle attachment.
    • Is there less than 6 mm (0.24 inch) of slack in the cable at the throttle connection? 
  3. A3 CHECK FOR A STICKING OR BINDING SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR CABLE 
    • Disconnect the speed control actuator cable from the speed control actuator.
    • Check the speed control actuator cable for sticking or binding.
    • Is the speed control actuator cable OK?
