Removal and Installation

2005 Ford Taurus SEL, 4D SedanSECTION Removal and Installation
  1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the screws, the air deflector and the shield.

  3. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the hoses.
    • Loosen the clamps and disconnect the hose.

  4. Remove the bolts, the nut, and the fluid cooler (3D746).

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  6. Fill and purge the power steering system. For additional information, refer to STEERING SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
