  1. H1 CHECK FOR PROPER OPERATION OF THE INTERIOR LIGHTS 
    • Turn ON the interior lights.
    • Do the interior lights operate normally? 
  2. H2 RETRIEVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES 
    • Used the recorded results from the SJB self-test.
    • Are any DTCs retrieved? 
  3. H3 CHECK THE POWER TO THE SJB FUSE 10 (30A) 
    • Disconnect: SJB Fuse 10 (30A).
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between the SJB fuse 10 (30A), input side, and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    • Yes  : GO to  H4.
    • No  : REPAIR circuit 1001 (WH/YE). CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
  4. H4 CHECK DELAYED ACCESSORY RELAY OPERATION 
    • Connect: SJB Fuse 10 (30A).
    • Key in ON position.
    • Select SJB active command for the delayed accessory relay.
    • Trigger delayed accessory relay to ON.
    • Operate the power windows.
    • Do the power windows operate? 
    • Yes  : GO to  H6.
    • No  : GO to  H5.
  5. H5 CHECK THE DELAYED ACCESSORY RELAY 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Delayed Accessory Relay.
    • Carry out the Relay Component Test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING article for component testing.
    • Did the relay pass the component test? 
    • Yes  : GO to  H6.
    • No  : INSTALL a new delayed accessory relay. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
  6. H6 CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION 
    • Disconnect all SJB connectors.
    • Check for:
      • corrosion
      • pushed-out pins
    • Connect all SJB connectors and make sure they seat correctly.
    • Operate the system and verify the concern is still present.
    • Is the concern still present? 
    • Yes  : INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the SJB self-test.
    • No  : The system is operating correctly at this time. Concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
