Power is transmitted from the torque converter to the geartrain components through the input shaft and forward clutch cylinder.
- By holding or driving certain members of the gearset, 5 forward ratios and 1 reverse ratio are obtained and transmitted to the output shaft. The ratios are as follows:GEAR RATIO
Gear Ratio 1ST 3.114 to 1 2ND 2.218 to 1 3RD 1.545 to 1 4TH(1) 1.096 to 1 5TH(1) 1 to 1 6TH(1) 0.712 to 1 REVERSE 2.88 to 1 (1) Special operating strategy is enabled when transmission temperature is less than -15Β°C (5Β°F)
