Principles of Operation
The DSM supports several vehicle subsystems and permits intermodule and scan tool communications.
The memory driver seat feature allows the driver to program a personalized seat position that can be recalled using the memory switches. For additional information, refer to SEATING article.
The adjustable pedals are also controlled by the DSM. This system permits the adjustment of the brake and accelerator pedals using the adjustable pedal switch. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
