Toe-In Adjustment: Rear

2004 Ford Focus ZX5, 2.3 Z, StandardSECTION Rear

Raise and support the vehicle. Loosen the rear lower arm adjustment cam to the crossmember nut. See Fig 1 . Tighten the nut to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m). Lower the vehicle. Bounce the vehicle to make sure that the suspension is in its normal resting position. Rotate the bolt and eccentric washer to achieve the required setting. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONSΒ  . Tighten nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  .
