Jacking & Hoisting: Hoist

2004 Ford Focus ZX5, 2.3 Z, StandardSECTION Hoist
CAUTION: Follow hoist manufacturer instructions. DO NOT let hoist or adapters contact suspension, exhaust or steering components. The vehicle must not be lifted on the outer rocker panel.

When lifting a vehicle with a two-post lift, vehicle levelling pads must be used under the lifting points. It is important that only the correct lifting and support locations are used at all times. See Fig 1 .

When to See a Mechanic
