P2100 - THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL MOTOR CIRCUIT/OPEN

Description:  PCM fault flag is set indicating the motor circuit is open. May require cycling the key.
Possible Causes: 
  • TACM has an open winding.
  • TACM is damaged.
  • TACM harness is open.
  • TACM harness is shorted to PWR.
  • TACM harness circuits are shorted together.
  • TACM harness connector is unplugged.
Diagnostic Aids:  An (TACM) circuit PID reading may indicate a fault if available.
