P1650 - POWER STEERING PRESSURE (PSP) SWITCH MALFUNCTION

Description:  In the KOEO self-test, this DTC indicates the PSP input to the PCM is high. In the KOER self-test, this DTC indicates the PSP input did not change state.
Possible Causes: 
  • The steering wheel must be turned during Key On/Engine Running self-test.
  • PSP switch/shorting bar damaged.
  • SIG RTN circuit open.
  • PSP circuit open or shorted to SIGRTN.
  • PCM damaged.

Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to FF: Power steering pressure switch STEP 2 GO to FF: Power steering pressure switch STEP 1 -
