Test Step 

A1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE 

  • Key in OFF position.
  • Disconnect: Traction Control Module C135.
  • Key in ON position.
  • Measure the voltage between the traction control module C135 pin 4, circuit 15-CF6A (GN/YE), harness side and ground.

  • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 

Result / Action to Take 

Yes 

Go to A2.

No 

REPAIR the circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.

Test Step 

A2 CHECK THE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE GROUNDS 

  • Key in OFF position.
  • Measure the resistance between the traction control module C135 pin 16, circuit 91-CF6 (BK/YE), harness side and ground; and between the traction control module C135 pin 47, circuit 91-CF13 (BK/BU), harness side and ground.

  • Are the resistances less than 5 ohms? 

Result / Action to Take 

Yes 

REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .

No 

REPAIR the circuit in question. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. TEST the system for normal operation.
