P0114 - INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR 1 INTERMITTENT/ERRATIC

Description:  Indicates the IAT sensor signal was intermittent during the comprehensive component monitor.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged harness.
  • Damaged sensor.
  • Damaged harness connector.
  • Damaged PCM.
Diagnostic Aids:  Monitor the IAT on the diagnostic tool, and look for sudden changes in the reading when the harness is wiggled or the sensor is tapped.
