Fuel Charging Wiring Harness: Removal
2004 Ford Focus ZX3, 2.0 3, StandardSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
- Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector.
- Detach the breather hose from the valve cover.
- Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) electrical connector.
- Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
- Disconnect the fuel injection wiring harness electrical connector.
- Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the engine undershield.
- Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Disconnect the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the accelerator cable.
- Remove the retaining clip and detach the inner cable from the throttle body.
- Rotate the outer cable.
- Disconnect the accelerator cable.
- Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors.
- Remove the fuel injection wiring harness.
