2004 Ford Escape 2.0 BSECTION Removal and Installation
  1. Partially drain the engine coolant. For additional information, Refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDINGΒ .
  2. Remove the three bolts and separate the coolant outlet adapter from the thermostat housing.

  3. NOTE: The thermostat is indexed and must be installed correctly.
