To access SRT using scan tool, perform the following:

  • Turn ignition off.
  • Perform necessary vehicle preparation and visual inspections.
  • Turn ignition on or start engine.
  • Select vehicle and engine selection menu (optional).
  • Select NEW VEHICLE YEAR & MODEL (optional).
  • Select year, engine, model and any additional information requested by scan tool.
  • Follow operating instructions from scan tool menu.
  • Select DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTIONS.
    NOTE: If all tests are not complete, SRT will automatically be displayed along with the following message: "NOT ALL SUPPORTED ON BOARD SYSTEM READINESS TESTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED".
  • Press TEST button to display SRT.
  • Select ON-BOARD SYSTEM READINESS.
