- Remove the broken or stripped bolt and discard.
- Drill out the internal threads in the seat belt anchor plate with a 27/64-inch drill.
- Rethread the anchor plate with a 1/2-13 tap (seat belt).
- Blow out the chips.
- Install the safety belt component(s).
- Install a new bolt with the same part number, unless otherwise specified.
- Tighten the bolt(s) to specification. For additional information, refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
