Place transmission in Neutral. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect manual shift lever control cable. Loosen bolts on Digital Transmission Range (DTR) sensor. Ensure manual lever on transmission is in Neutral. Install DTR Sensor Alignment Tool (T97L-70010-A). Tighten DTR sensor bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  . Remove DTR sensor alignment tool. Place manual lever on transmission in Overdrive. Reconnect manual shift lever control cable. Lower vehicle. Check system operation.
