Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to DLC. DLC is located below driver's side of instrument panel, to right of steering column. Following scan tool manufacturer's instructions enter PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD for desired module. Operate appropriate system and ensure Parameter Identification (PID) expected values are obtained. See appropriate PID DEFINITIONS table under PARAMETER IDENTIFICATION & DEFINITIONSΒ .
