Removal and Installation

NOTE:
The ABS module mounts to the HCU on a bracket on L/H inner fender well in engine compartment.
The ABS module mounts to the HCU on a bracket on L/H inner fender well in engine compartment.
- Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Position the radiator coolant reservoir aside.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the four screws and position the ABS module to gain access to the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the ABS module electrical connector.
- Release the lock tab.
- Pull the connector from the module.
- Remove the ABS module.
- Lift the ABS module slightly and disconnect the ABS pump motor electrical connector.
- Remove the ABS module from the vehicle.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
