Activating System (ZX2)
2003 Ford Windstar BaseSECTION Activating System (ZX2)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least one minute for backup power supply to deplete stored energy. Remove air bag simulator from clockspring connector at top of steering column. Install driver air bag module. See DRIVER AIR BAG MODULEΒ .
- Remove air bag simulator from passenger air bag vehicle harness connector. Install passenger air bag module. See PASSENGER AIR BAG MODULEΒ . Reconnect passenger air bag module connector. Reconnect negative battery cable. Recheck system operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ . Reprogram radio preset frequencies and set clock.
