2003 Ford Windstar BaseSECTION Activating System (Escape)
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least one minute for backup power supply to deplete stored energy. Remove air bag simulator from clockspring connector. Reconnect air bag module connector. Install steering wheel access panel.
  2. Remove air bag simulator from passenger air bag vehicle harness connector. Reconnect air bag module connector. Restore glove box to original position.
  3. Disconnect side air bag simulators. Reconnect side air bag module connectors. Disconnect seat belt pretensioner simulators. Reconnect seat belt pretensioner connectors. Reconnect negative battery cable. Recheck system operation. Perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ . Reprogram preset radio frequencies and set clock.
