Actual quantities will vary a few ounces based on applications. always use the fluid level indicator for setting the correct level.
The above fluid capacities are approximate dry fill capacity and include fluid coolers and fluid cooler tubes. Fluid level indicator should be used to determine actual fluid requirement and fluid specifications. Check level at operating temperature. DO NOT OVERFILL.

REfill Capacity: 13.2 L (13.9 quarts) Motorcraft MERCON (R) V Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-5-QM meeting Ford specification MERCON (R) V. Check the transmission fluid level indicator to determine the correct fluid level.
MERCON ATF is being replaced by MERCON V ATF as a service fluid, per TSB 06-14-4.
