Removal, overhaul, and installation procedures for Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV) using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) are covered in this article. If component removal and installation is primarily an unbolt and bolt-on procedure, only a torque specification may be furnished. Vehicles utilize special fuel tanks, fuel filler valve, fuel pressure regulator, coalescent filter assembly, fuel lines, fuel injectors and control module. Vehicles are not equipped with EGR system, downstream O2 sensors or evaporative emissions systems.
