1998 Ford Taurus V6-3.0L DOHC VIN SSECTION Manifold Gauge Set Connection





If a manifold gauge set is used, connect it as follows:
1. Turn both manifold gauge set valves all the way to the right to close high and low-pressure hoses to center manifold and hose. Rotunda Quick Disconnects (176-R0036 and 176-R0037) or equivalents must be used to connect the manifold gauge set or charging station to both the high-pressure and low-pressure service gauge ports.
2. Remove A/C charging valve cap from the high- and low-pressure service gauge port valves.
3. Close valves at quick disconnects.
4. Connect the high- and low-pressure hoses to the respective high- and low-pressure service gauge ports.
5. Open valves at quick disconnects.
