- Remove rear wiper/washer switch. Measure resistance between terminals No. 5 and 6. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be less than 5 ohms with wiper switch set to ON position, and more than 10,000 ohms with wiper switch set to OFF position. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, replace switch.
- Measure resistance between terminals No. 4 and 5. Resistance should be less than 5 ohms with washer switch set to ON position, and more than 10,000 ohms with washer switch set to OFF position. If resistance is not as specified, replace switch.
