Speed Control Indicator Always On

- Disconnect cruise control servo connector. Turn ignition on. Wait until prove-out is completed. Observe indicator. If speed control indicator stays on, go to next step. If speed control indicator goes off, replace cruise control servo.
- Disconnect instrument cluster connector C254/C255. See Figure and Figure . If speed control indicator stays on, temporarily substitute known good EIC, then retest system. If speed control indicator goes off, repair short to ground in Orange/Light Blue wire between speed control servo and EIC connector C254/C255, terminal No. 26.
