Tie Rod Ends: Removal

1997 Ford Crown Victoria Base, 4.6 WSECTION Removal

Turn off air suspension switch (if equipped). Raise and support vehicle. Loosen adjusting sleeve clamp bolts. Remove cotter pins and castle nuts from tie rod ends. Using Tie Rod End Remover (T00L-3290-D), remove tie rod ends from steering knuckles. Unscrew tie rod ends from adjusting sleeves, noting number of turns necessary for installation reference.
