Power Window Master Switch

1997 Ford Contour LX, 2.5 L, StandardSECTION Power Window Master Switch

Remove master switch from vehicle. See POWER WINDOW SWITCHΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Measure resistance between specified terminals while operating switch. See appropriate MASTER SWITCH TESTING TABLE. See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Replace switch if resistance between specified terminals is greater than 5 ohms. DO NOT check resistance between terminals not specified.
