Using New Generation Star (NGS) Scan Tool
After all codes have been retrieved and faults have been repaired, turn ignition off. Perform step 1) in RETRIEVING TROUBLE CODES until NGS screen displays RETRIEVE/CLEAR CONTINUOUS DTCS. Press CLEAR ALL button. cycle ignition off them to RUN position. All codes should now be cleared.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
