- Turn ignition off. Remove left and right door trim panels. Disconnect left and right power door lock actuator connectors. Disconnect door lock relay connector, located above right kick panel. Measure resistance of Green wire between door lock relay connector and each door lock actuator connector. If both resistance readings are less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If one or both resistance reading is 5 ohms or more, repair open Green wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . Recheck system operation.
- Measure resistance of Red wire between door lock relay connector and each door lock actuator connector. If both resistance readings are less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If one or both resistance reading is 5 ohms or more, repair open Red wire. Recheck system operation.
- Measure resistance between ground and Green wire at door lock relay connector. If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair short to ground in Green wire. Recheck system operation.
- Measure resistance between ground and Red wire at door lock relay connector. If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, replace inoperative door lock actuator. If resistance is 10,000 ohms or less, repair short to ground in Green wire. Recheck system operation.
