- This test is used to verify operation of input circuitry to the module being tested. Hook up New Generation Star (NGS) scan tester. See EQUIPMENT HOOK-UPΒ . Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
- Rotate dial on scan tester to DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK menu, and press trigger to select and advance to next screen. Highlight and select module you wish to receive information from.
- Highlight and select menu item PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD. Highlight and select the PID acronyms you wish to view. When all PID acronyms have been selected, press 7 button, to view all selected PIDs.
