- This test checks output circuitry by activating selected device. Hook-up New Generation Star (NGS) scan tester. See EQUIPMENT HOOK-UP . Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
- Rotate dial on scan tester to DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK menu, and press trigger to select and advance to next screen. Highlight and select module you wish to command action from.
- Highlight and select menu item ACTIVE/COMMAND MODES. Highlight and select command. Press trigger to activate command.
