1. Turn ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Place gear shift lever in PARK, brake not applied, and verify lever cannot be shifted from PARK.
3. With brake pedal applied, ensure gear shift lever can be shifted from PARK.
4. Shift to REVERSE.
5. Verify ignition switch cannot be turned to LOCK position.
6. Shift to PARK.
7. Verify ignition switch can be turned to LOCK position.
