- Gain access to sliding roof panel motor.
- Using test lamp, back probe (Red) wire. See Figure .
- Toggle roof sliding panel switch to the close position.
- Did test lamp illuminate? If yes, replace damaged sliding roof panel motor. Restore vehicle. Retest system. If no, service (Red) wire for open. Restore vehicle. Retest system.
