EGR Valve Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Disconnect EGR valve sensor wire connector at EGR valve sensor .






2. Remove three EGR valve sensor retaining nuts.

3. Remove EGR valve sensor from EGR valve.

4. Inspect and replace silicon gasket (if necessary).

Installation

1. Follow removal procedures in reverse order.

2. Tighten EGR valve sensor retaining nuts to 15-18 Nm (11-13 lb ft).
