- ABS valve failure may be caused by defective hydraulic outlet (dump) valve. To correct condition, refer to TEST P: LEFT FRONT OUTLET VALVE (HYDRAULIC) OR SENSORΒ , TEST Q: RIGHT FRONT OUTLET VALVE (HYDRAULIC) OR SENSOR and TEST R: REAR AXLE OUTLET VALVE (HYDRAULIC) (steps 2 and 3 only) under DTC TESTSΒ .
- A rear brake mechanical failure may be caused by damp or contaminated rear brake linings, stuck or leaking wheel cylinders, rear brakes adjusted to tight, parking brake not releasing or leaking rear axle seal. To correct this condition, inspect rear brakes and repair or replace components as necessary.
