- Verify ABS warning light is on, indicating a malfunction. Turn ignition off. If using a Super Star II Tester, go to next step. If using a 12-volt test light, go to step 3 . If Super Star II Tester or 12-volt test light are unavailable, go to step 4 .
- Using Super Star II Tester, connect tester to Red ABS data link connector located near ECU. Turn tester power on, and put HOLD/TEST button in TEST position. Go to step 5 .
- Using a 12-volt test light, connect test light between Red ABS data link connector terminal "C" (Dark Green wire) and terminal "E" (Black wire). Go to step 4 .
- Connect a jumper wire between Red ABS data link connector terminal "B" (Black/Light Blue wire) and terminal "E" (Black wire). Go to next step.
- Verify test equipment is hooked up properly. After verifying equipment hook up, go to RETRIEVE ABS TROUBLE CODES .
