Memory Seat Module Test: Notes

1996 Ford Bronco 5.0 N, Automatic, E4ODSECTION Notes

If seat is stuck in the most rearward and downward position, it may be necessary to remove seat to gain access to module. Module is located on inboard side of front seat track. Test results are shown as coded pulses of test Light Emitting Diode (LED). Memory seat module has a built-in diagnostic capability. To enter diagnostics, press White button on top of module. Press test button, recessed into top rear edge of module. Test results are shown as coded pulses of test LED. LED is located inboard of 21-pin receptacle at rear of module. Driver side module test results can also be read on LED located in memory seat switch on driver's door.
