KM63 - Check A/C ON Circuit For Short to Ground

- Key "OFF".
- A/C relay disconnected.
- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.
- Measure resistance between test pin 54 at the breakout box and chassis ground.
- Is resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?
Yes -- Go to KM64. KM64 - Check A/C ON Circuit Continuity
No -- Service short to ground. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
