PURPOSE
The Speed Control Amplifier controls speed control operations by applying vacuum to the speed control servo motor through the modulating valve.
The speed control module receives vehicle speed sensor signals to calculate the proper amount of vacuum to apply to the servo to maintain the vehicle set speed.
