Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 327 indicates that sometime in the last 80 warm-up cycles, the EGR Temperature (EGRT) sensor signal was less than the Self-Test minimum.
Possible Causes:
- Damaged EGRT sensor.
- EGRT circuit shorted to ground.
- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
- Key "OFF".
- Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
- Start engine and run for at least two minutes.
- Turn engine "OFF" and rerun Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test.
- Is Continuous Memory DTC 327 still present?
Yes -- Go to DB2. DB2 - Induce Opposite Code
No -- Go to DB90. DB90 - Check EEC-IV Vehicle Harness
