REMOVAL
1. Remove the distributor cap, moving the cap and wires aside to allow access to the distributor.
2. Disconnect the distributor electrical connection.
NOTE: To disconnect the module connector, push on the connector where it says PUSH, then slide connector from module.
3. Mark the rotor position on the distributor, then remove the rotor.
4. Mark the distributor position on the engine.
5. Remove the distributor hold down screw and clamp.
6. Remove the distributor from the engine.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the distributor on the engine, aligning the marks from REMOVAL STEPS 3 and 4. Install the distributor hold down clamp and lightly tighten bolt.
2. Connect the distributor connector, and install the rotor and distributor cap, tightening the screws to 18-23 lb. in. (2.0-2.6 N-m).
3. Disconnect the SPOUT connector, START the engine, and adjust the ignition timing to 10 degrees BTDC.
4. Tighten the distributor hold down bolt to 17-25 lb. ft. (23-34 N-m) and connect the SPOUT connector.

4. Tighten the distributor hold down bolt to 17-25 lb. ft. (23-34 N-m) and connect the SPOUT connector.
