- Key "OFF".

- Unplug dual function A/C Pressure Switch (ACPSW) (also known as Refrigerant Containment/Fan Function Switch).

- A/C "OFF" (to prevent chance of short circuit).

- Start engine.

ACPSW View:






- Jumper ACPSW circuit to GND circuit at the ACPSW vehicle harness connector.

- Does the high speed fan come on?

Yes -- Key "OFF". ACPSW circuit is OK. Remove jumper. Reconnect ACPSW. Go to Heating and Air Conditioning to check operation of the medium pressure function of the dual function A/C pressure switch. If OK, return to Diagnostic Routines for other possible causes.

No -- Go to X66. X66 - Check Ground Circuit to ACPSW
