- Key "OFF".

- Reconnect Pusher Fan Control (PFC) relay.

- Pusher fan disconnected.

- Again, enter Output State Diagnostic Test Mode. Output State Diagnostic Test Mode

- Outputs "OFF".

- Command the PFC output "ON" by depressing the throttle, near Wide Open Throttle (WOT), waiting for the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to flash three consecutive times (about 20 seconds), then releasing the throttle.

- Measure voltage between the Power-To-Pusher Fan circuit at the pusher fan vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is voltage greater than 10.5 volts?

Yes -- Exit Output State test mode. Key "OFF". Replace pusher fan. Re-evaluate symptom.

No -- Verify test results. If voltage is still less than 10.5 volts, exit Output State test mode. Key "OFF". Replace PFC relay. Reconnect pusher fan. Re-evaluate symptom.
