- Key "OFF".
- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, and loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.
- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.
- Disconnect Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM).
- Measure resistance between test pin 13 at the breakout box and Pin 14 at the CCRM vehicle harness connector.
- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?
Yes -- Go to X25. X25 - Check FC/LFC Circuit For Short to Power
No -- Service open in Fan Control (FC) / High Fan Control (HFC) circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
