S6 - Check MAP Sensor

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) vacuum hose from manifold tee.

- Install vacuum pump to MAP vacuum hose.

- Apply 61 kPa (18 in Hg) vacuum to MAP sensor.

- Does MAP sensor and vacuum hose hold vacuum?

Yes -- Release vacuum. Remove vacuum pump. Go to S7. S7 - Check Vacuum Manifold Source

No -- Replace MAP sensor. Reconnect vacuum line to MAP sensor. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
