Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Installation

Connect air bag module wiring connector to clock-spring (contact assembly) connector. Position air bag module on steering wheel. Install air bag module nuts and washers, and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  table at the end of this article. Activate air bag system. Check AIR BAG warning light to ensure system is functioning properly. See TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ  .
