- Verify condition, road test vehicle. Verify that odometer or trip odometer binds and will not advance. Check with customer to determine if binding occurred when vehicle was exposed to high or low outside temperatures, or long driving periods.
- If odometer or trip odometer is binding, replace speedometer and repeat step 1). Adjust odometer mileage on replacement speedometer. Install odometer sticker on driver door pillar to indicate speedometer replacement. Replace all instrument cluster illumination bulbs with Bulbs (C3AZ-13455-D) to prevent overheating of speedometer.
