REMOVAL

Component Location:





1. Locate Knock Sensor (KS) under the intake manifold.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from sensor.
3. Remove sensor by unscrewing counterclockwise.



INSTALLATION


1. Install the KS into the intake manifold.
2. Tighten the sensor to 22-28 ft lb (29-39 Nm).
3. Connect the electrical connector to sensor.
