1992 Ford Ranger 2D Pickup, 4.0 X, RWDSECTION Base Ignition Timing
NOTE: Ignition timing is not adjustable on models with DIS or EDIS.

Ensure idle speed and ignition timing are set to specification. For adjustment procedures, see ADJUSTMENTS article. Ensure all accessories are off and transmission is in Park or Neutral. Set parking brake. Disconnect automatic parking brake release (if equipped). Ensure vehicle front wheels are in straight-ahead position and curb idle speed set to specification.
