- Release fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE). Remove upper intake manifold and throttle body assembly. See UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD & THROTTLE BODY under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE).
- Remove fuel supply manifold. See FUEL SUPPLY MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY - 2.9L or FUEL SUPPLY MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY - 4.0L under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE). Remove wiring harness from injector(s). Remove injector retaining clip(s). Remove injectors from fuel supply manifold using a rocking/pulling motion.
