- Release fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASEΒ under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE). Remove upper intake manifold and throttle body assembly. See UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD & THROTTLE BODY under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE).
- Remove fuel supply manifold. See FUEL SUPPLY MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY - 2.9LΒ or FUEL SUPPLY MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY - 4.0LΒ under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE). Remove wiring harness from injector(s). Remove injector retaining clip(s). Remove injectors from fuel supply manifold using a rocking/pulling motion.
